A fire alarm system has two jobs: notice a problem, and tell everyone about it. These are the devices that do each.

Inspection and testing frequency is set by NFPA 72 and your local jurisdiction, and can vary by device type and occupancy. We can set up a recurring inspection schedule — always confirm exact intervals for your building with your local fire marshal.
It depends mostly on building size and how quickly you need to pinpoint a triggered device. We'll recommend the right fit during the design walkthrough.
Fire alarm panels are required to have battery backup power, so the system continues to function during a typical outage.
